Diwali, the Hindu "festival of lights," is the best known of Hindu festivals and certainly the brightest. Diwali is an official holiday in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and other countries.

For the Hindu community abroad, Diwali Mela is a way to bond with cultural roots and acquaint children with Indian culture and heritage. 

Event Highlights:

4-11 pm - Kids’ Corner featuring, zip line, magic shows and jugglers
5 pm - Cultural performances on the community stage
7 pm - Ramleela play followed by fireworks towards the end of the play
8 pm - Speech in honor of Diwali
8:30 pm - Bollywood performance by the famous Bollywood artist Bappi Lahiri
11:45 pm - Grand Finale Fireworks

TICKET INFO

$8 in advance, $10 at the gate. Children 10 and under are free. Bollywood concert is $25-$100.
