Planned Parenthood’s Annual Awards Luncheon is the group's signature event, directly supporting Planned Parenthood’s health care and education services for women and families in Central and North Texas. This year's keynote speaker will be Olympia Snowe, former republican U.S. senator from Maine. Snowe was named one of the America's Best Senators by Time magazine in 2006 and chaired the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. She has authored a book this year entitled Fighting for Common Ground: How We Can Fix the Stalemate in Congress.
