A Dublin family learns that no good deed goes unpunished in Lance Daly’s riotous comedy, Life's a Breeze. A surprise home makeover goes awry when the largely self-absorbed “adult” children learn that the mattress they tossed contained family matriarch Nan’s (Fionnula Flanagan, who was nominated for an IFTA Award for her role) sizable life savings. Everyone scrambles to find the missing money before it’s too late - a quest complicated by well-meaning son Colm’s (Pat Shortt) hare-brained attempts to help out. Meanwhile, frustrated 13-year-old Emma (Kelly Thornton) finally starts to bond with her grandmother, and what starts out as a disaster becomes a bonding experience.
