2017 Kappa Tablescapes

Kappa Tablescapes is a unique two-day fundraising event benefiting Dallas community non-profit organizations that have been nominated, researched and selected by the Dallas Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma.

Esteemed interior designer Mark D. Sikes will be the featured speaker for the 2017 Kappa Tablescapes luncheon, presented by the Dallas Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma and sponsored by Central Market.

Sikes is known for creating beautiful and timeless interiors that embody an indoor/outdoor lifestyle. He has a talent for mixing American and European, traditional and modern, and new and old sensibilities. He has created celebrated rooms for the Kips Bay Show House in New York, the Grand Garden Halls at Greystone in Beverly Hills and the Southern Living Show House in Birmingham.

Sikes' first book, Beautiful: All-American Decorating and Timeless Style, was released in 2016. In addition to his design projects, Sikes has furniture, rug and fabric collections with Henredon, Merida and Schumacher. His work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Veranda and House Beautiful, among other prestigious publications.

On October 16, the Sneak Peek starts at 3 pm, followed by Candlelight at 6:30 pm. The luncheon starts at 10 am on October 17.

The 2017 beneficiaries include Akola Project, Camp Summit, Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep, Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, Genesis Women’s Shelter and Support, Seniors’ Pet Assistance Network, Town North YMCA, Visiting Nurse Association (Meals on Wheels) and Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation.
