Alamo Drafthouse presents ScriptsLIVE!: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
The Dallas Screenwriters Association and the Alamo Drafthouse will present ScriptsLIVE!: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, an event designed to introduce and educate people about the craft of screenwriting along with having some fun - seeing (and hearing) live readings of all time classic film scripts with local personalities and celebrities in the lead roles, with live set elements that also immerse you in the experience.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was written by Shane Black (who was one of the most highly paid screenwriters in the 1980s). The script is partially based on the Brett Halliday novel Bodies Are Where You Find Them and interprets the classic hard-boiled literary genre in a tongue-in-cheek fashion. The film starred Robert Downey Jr., Val Kilmer and Michelle Monaghan and has become a cult favorite for film lovers.
