Art Centre Theatre will presents Across the Known Universe, a sing-along musical of the '60s and '70s. Remember tie-dyed t-shirts, campfire jam sessions, love-beads, patchouli oil? Even if you don't, everyone can get excited about hippies, free love and marijuana. Take a trip down memory lane or at least what you can remember about it and relive some of the best parts of Americana. 

This original musical picks up where the movie Across the Universe left off and relives some of the not-so-settling moments of the '60s. The crowd is encouraged to sing along to the OTHER artists from the '60s that defined the music and drug culture of that era. All can get involved in this toe-tapping, drum-beating, guitar jamming, make love, not war musical extravaganza that recaps one of the most revolutionary times in history.

Featuring a live band on stage, each character in this production represents an archetype from the era and presents us with the question: Did the generation that was going to change everything actually change anything?
