The Asian Film Festival of Dallas celebrates its 18th year with returning presenting sponsor Well Go USA Entertainment. The 2019 festival year boasts the most amount of documentaries, comedies, and women directed and produced films. Fifty-four films will screen throughout the week, including six short blocks (Drama, Experimental, Women’s, Students’, Late Night and Documentary) and 32 feature films.

Film fans can expect films from 11 different countries: Laos, Vietnam, Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Tibet, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and S. Korea. Genres will include comedy, crime drama, anime, documentary, drama, thriller, period, and romantic comedy.

Notable films include opening night film The Odd Family: Zombie on Sale, centerpiece film Go Back to China, and closing night film Samurai Marathon.
