AT&T Performing Arts Center presents The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra

AT&T Performing Arts Center presents The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Zubin Mehta. The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra will perform as part of the 2015/2016 Classical Criterion series.  

This performance is presented in partnership with Texas Friends of Rabin Medical Center and the American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (AFIPO).

The program includes Ravel’s La valse, Poème Chorégraphique, Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9, E minor (From the New World) as well as A Journey to the End of the Millennium by contemporary Georgian composer and Israeli immigrant, Josef Bardanashvili.

There will be a special fundraising gala at the Winspear Opera House prior to the concert.  Giving levels begin at $1,000 per couple and include access to the best orchestra seating for the performance, the preshow reception and parking.  Donations of $5,000 or higher include a dessert reception with Maestro Zubin Mehta. Proceeds from the gala will benefit AFIPO and the Texas Friends of Rabin Medical Center.
