Dallas native Max Hartman is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter, but you may know him best as a stage and voiceover actor. As a long time company member of Kitchen Dog Theater, his acting work has earned him Best of Dallas honors from the Dallas Observer, D Magazine, The Dallas Theater Critics Forum and others. He has also appeared in notable productions with Undermain Theatre, Theater Three, and Shakespeare Dallas, where he has served as musical composer for several productions.

As a musician he has performed and recorded with multiple bands on multiple instruments, most notably as the drummer for Home By Hovercraft and their award-winning musical On The Eve. Also a film composer, his score for Barbara Davidson's Caught in the Crossfire helped to earn her an Emmy Award for the multimedia piece.

This special night will feature songs from his band Mur, his side project Hartman & Cole (with drummer Brant J. Cole), and a special featured set of songs that he has composed for the stage and screen but has yet to perform himself.
