Stephen Harrigan is the author of nine previous books including the New York Times bestseller The Gates of the Alamo. He is also a writer-at-large for Texas Monthly and a screenwriter who has written many movies for television. He lives in Austin.

The 7 pm event is free and open to the public. A 6 pm reception, by reservation only, is $30 per person and includes a copy of the book.
