CentralTrak resident Shawn Mayer presents a series of videos and photographic installations titled If you REALLY want to know. Mayer’s thesis exhibition re-examines slice-of-life moments and injects them with a wild dose of existential humor bordering on a stand-up comedy routine. The work is inspired by various forms of amature digital media such as YouTube volgs, Reddit posts, animated gifs, and Instagram images.  Many of the installations incorporate modern vernacular mediums such as flat-screen TVs, cell phones, GPS devices and computers.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through July 26.
