Cohn Drennan Contemporary will present PRINTS!PRINTS!PRINTS!, celebrating the print and the makers of prints. The gallery will host an exhibition of University of Texas at Arlington MFA students who challenge general interpretations of what a print is, and re-define what a print does. David Diaz, Erica Guajardo, Gary Joe Uribe, Seth Victorious and Syd Webb each confront their audiences with issues that address the academics and the politics of the multiple.

Throughout the month, special selections of works from the gallery’s inventory will be made available to the public for viewing and purchase. The majority of these prints have not been presented to clients or collectors, but PRINTS!PRINTS!PRINTS! seems like the right time and place.

The gallery will also host a Pool Print Fair, August 16 from 4-9 pm, for student, street and underground purveyors of affordable prints. This will be a celebration of prints and an opportunity for guests and clients to encounter new art and artists, and stock up on reasonably priced works of art.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through September 6.
