In an ambitious project, AT&T Performing Arts Center, in association with Shakespeare Dallas will present a staged reading of every one of William Shakespeare's plays and sonnets over the next five years. The third in the series is Taming of the Shrew, what just might have been history's first screwball comedy. Trying to get Katherina, the shrew, to marry someone she loathes seems next to impossible, but Petruchio is up to the task.
All performances will take place in Hamon Hall inside the Winspear Opera House.
