As a recent immigrant to the U.S. from Italy, Marco Querin has found himself in a life of constant change and adaptation. As an artist, he has long been intrigued by actions that can be controlled in the face of unpredictability. This control is manifest in the fragility, tension, elasticity, and equilibrium of his fiber-based creations. Through very precise execution, Querin brings strands of wool, alpaca, cotton and synthetic fibers to life and tells a story that has a clear beginning and end.

The exhibit will be on display through July 3.
