Weina Dai Randel is the debut author of the duology: The Moon in the Palace and The Empress of Bright Moon. The Moon in the Palace tells the gripping story of Empress Wu and her rise to royalty as China’s first and only female emperor. The duology took Randel ten years to write and publish. The book launch and lecture will highlight her publishing journey and her presentation of the splendid Tang Dynasty in ancient China as well as the famed Empress Wu.
