The Dallas Opera will kick off the new Titus Family Art Song Recital Series with the Dallas Opera debut of one of the classical music world’s most exciting singing stars: English tenor Ian Bostridge. Bostridge will perform a program that will include the original 12-song version of Franz Schubert’s Winterreise, as well as selections by Benjamin Britten, Charles Ives, Noel Coward and Cole Porter. Bostridge will be accompanied by Canadian pianist Wenwen Du.
