This concert features a trio of DSO debuts. Case Scaglione, Associate Conductor of the New York Philharmonic, makes his conducting debut. As her debut with the DSO, pianist Lucille Chung performs young Dallas composer Chase Dobson's Piano Concerto No. 1. Dobson is currently studying at Southern Methodist University's Meadows School of the Arts, and his works have been heard around Dallas and nationally on the radio program From the Top.

The concert will also include Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet and Schumann's Symphony No. 2.
