Nine national author/educators will join local education experts in South Dallas at the Dallas ISD’s historic Lincoln High School for the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture’s 2015 Education Forum, On the Spirit of Learning. A welcome respite from the overwhelmingly polarizing impact of the current discourse, this unique event aims at bringing citizens and educators together to consider not the problems of education, but the spirit of teaching and learning that can provide every public school student with the kind of education that every child deserves and needs.

Presented by the Dallas Institute’s Louise and Donald Cowan Center for Education, the 2015 Education Forum will recall important features of liberal education across all levels of education, from primary school to the university, qualities of a comprehensive education that are being neglected today.

Funding has been provided for Dallas ISD core teachers to attend free. To register, visit www.dallasinstitute.org or call 214-871-2440.
