Chris Colfer, acclaimed author and Golden Globe–winning actor from Glee, was honored as a member of the TIME 100, Time magazine's annual list of the one hundred most influential people in the world. In a highly anticipated continuation of his #1 New York Times bestselling Land of Stories series, Colfer presents his fifth book, The Author’s Odyssey, a thrilling adventure starring a pair of twins and a host of fairytale characters.

The series kicks off when twins Alex and Conner Bailey receive a beloved storybook from their grandmother. Little did they know that they were about to leap into a land beyond all imagining, in which outlaws, witches, and fairies abound. Colfer’s fictional universe doesn’t play by the usual rules. Readers race through the realms of Neverland, Oz, Wonderland, and beyond to find things a little changed. Goldilocks is a fugitive from the law, Cinderella is expecting her first-born, and a valuable friend is found in the form of a mysterious talking frog. Colfer’s series creates a diverse, imaginative world that celebrates the provenance of fiction and storytelling throughout the ages.

In The Author’s Odyssey, the twins and their ragtag team of allies battle the Masked Man, a treacherous rogue who converts books into portals to other worlds. The twins will do anything to restore peace to their fairytale world, but what will happen when they face off with an army of literature’s most evil villains?

Colfer will pre-sign books, which will be available for purchase at the event. There will not be a book signing following the event.
