Encore Park will host a day full of celebratory events to honor two significant and overlapping anniversaries: The Stewpot’s 40th and Encore Park’s first anniversaries. The events will take place throughout Encore Park’s innovative cultural and social impact campus in Dallas’ historic Harwood District.

After being left vacant for more than 20 years, phase one of the campus opened October 2014 with the help of The Stewpot of First Presbyterian Church. The free, open-to-the public events like Dallas Winds, Dallas Street Choir and Lucky Pierres performances; yoga in the Community Garden; a cornbread and chili dinner served by Second Chance Café; the relighting of 508 Park’s restored historic sconces; and more will celebrate this momentous milestone for Encore Park and The Stewpot.
