The Friends of the SMU Libraries presents author M.O. Walsh

Author M. O. Walsh will come to Dallas to talk about his debut novel, My Sunshine AwayMy Sunshine Away is a spellbinding mystery, a funny and tender coming-of-age story and a rich and affectionate portrait of the contemporary South. Walsh is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and currently teaches creative writing at the University of New Orleans. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, his fiction and essays have appeared in The New York Times, Oxford American, American Short Stories, among other publications.

An 11 am Author Reception, by reservation only, is $30 and incudes a copy of the book. The 11:30 am Author Presentation is free and open to the public. A light buffet lunch will be served.
