The Garland Symphony Orchestra will ring in the New Year with good cheer close to home as they feature one of GSO’s talented clarinetists, Brent Buemi, performing Copland’s Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra. In addition to Buemi’s solo, the orchestra will perform such pieces as Rimsky-Korsakov’s Le Coq d’Or Suite and J. Strauss II’s Crown March, Op. 139. The audience will have the pleasure of being guided into the New Year by Korean conductor, Jin Hyoun Baek.
