The Goldmark Cultural Center’s John H. Milde Gallery presents "Interactions and Interfaces," an exhibition of recent works by seven MFA students and candidates - Naomi Peterson, Ben Statser, Jihye Han, Amy Henson, Bri Shimer, Eric Grasham and Courtney Segrest - from the Ceramics Department at University of North Texas in Denton.

This exhibition spans the gamut from sculptural work to functional pottery, highlighting the plasticity of ceramics. The research of each artist follows a distinct path resulting in a diverse group of works. The theme of "Interactions and Interfaces" speaks to how we experience the world through physical or digital means and how it contributes to identity, values, material culture and cultural objects. The work presented investigates issues that are present in contemporary art and craft in connection to the greater social, political and global arena.

The exhibition will be on display through March 12. Visitors can schedule an appointment to view the exhibition by contacting goldmarkculturalcenter@gmail.com.
