Recess of the Hierophant is Henry Biber's second solo show at Haley-Henman Gallery. The works present an assumption that there is a universal commonality in the inner life irrespective of race, location/place or history. This point of view allows the work to enter into the viewer's awareness, not as an answer to a puzzle, or a physical counterpart, but as an experience of a dynamic metaphor of psychic realities. The products of imagination, and how we navigate between the conscious and unconscious worlds are the media for these works. Meditation and contemplation are the processes for the media.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through October 1.
