Lavish is an IIDA design event and silent auction where local design teams create unforgettable design vignettes using donated and re-purposed items. All items in the vignettes will be available for purchase through a silent auction during the event. These design vignettes will be planned around culinary-inspired themes.

Each design team will be paired with a furniture underwriter, material underwriter, and accessory underwriter. Underwriters will donate items and materials for the design teams to use in their vignette. Design teams may also source other, non-competing donations for their vignettes from the local community.

A portion of the silent auction proceeds will go to the event beneficiary, Dwell with Dignity, a non-profit that helps families escape poverty and homelessness through design. The design vignettes will be revealed at the IIDA Lavish Auction. A panel of celebrity judges will attend the event and score each vignette for the awards ceremony.
