Mary Tomás Gallery presents the inclusion of their group exhibition Core II as part of the CADD Bus Tour. CADD (Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas) has been promoting the visual arts through unique programming since 2006 and the highly praised bus tours were introduced in 2010. Tour participants gain access to studios, galleries, private collections, art installations and very special trips. The first bus tour of 2016 will include visits to Liliana Bloch Gallery, The Public Trust, the new contemporary art collection at UT Southwestern William P. Clements Jr. Hospital, and Mary Tomás Gallery.
Core II will introduce visitors to art advisor and guest curator Ashley Tatum. Tatum is well known in the art world and will lend her keen eye and expertise to MTG curating a group show of selected works from the best of the gallery’s roster. The exhibit will showcase the local, national, and international artists represented at MTG. Tatum will talk briefly about her art advisory business and how she interacts with patrons, collectors, and galleries when assisting with art acquisitions for clients. Also present will be some of the artists who will speak about their work included in the exhibit.
