Nasher Sculpture Center presents Rediscoveries: Modes of Making in Modern Sculpture
In the upper galleries, visitors will find works from different historical eras alongside sculptures never before displayed at the Nasher Sculpture Center, most notably Richard Serra’s 1969 Inverted House of Cards. Created by leaning four large Cor-Ten steel plates against one another, Serra’s iconic prop piece uses natural forces to transform a child’s game into a weighty meditation on mass, force, and endurance.
