Schuster has added jewelry making to her slate of talents as well. She creates unique necklace assemblages with gold or silver wire and precious & semiprecious gemstones. One hallmark of her designs is the virtually invisible stainless steel cable that many of the pieces are suspended on which makes them seem to hover over the heart.
