Fight pancreatic cancer, the fourth leading cause of cancer death at PurpleStride DFW 2014, presented by Bell, Nunnally & Martin LLP. Thousands of participants have their choice of participating in the 5K timed run, or making strides during the 1-mile awareness walk winding through Klyde Warren Park. The event will include music and family friendly festivities throughout the day.

PurpleStride DFW is among 50 PurpleStride events taking place this year in communities across the country where tens of thousands of people will make strides towards a cure for pancreatic cancer. PurpleStride events contribute millions of dollars toward the mission of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to advance research, support patients and create hope. Money raised helps fund personalized support for patients, their families and their caregivers. The events also support research grants and advocacy efforts to increase federal pancreatic cancer research funding.
