The Sammons Center for the Arts maintains the legacy of Sammons Jazz favorite Leigh Tomlinson with its annual concert featuring two up-and-coming jazz vocalists. Tomlinson, a vibrant, dedicated and talented jazz vocalist, was also a longtime volunteer beloved by everyone who met her.

Creating a connection with the audience is a priority for jazz vocalist Garry Williams, who leads a superb group — Caleb McCampbell on piano, Jerome Allen on bass, and Lamont Taylor on drums — in presenting the sounds of classic jazz.

Hailed as a joyful musical force, Rosana Eckert is a dynamic live and accomplished studio vocalist, a creative songwriter and arranger, and a master teacher.  Backing her is a quartet of top notch jazz artists: Brian Piper on piano, James Driscoll on bass, Mike Drake on drums, and Chris McGuire on sax.
