SPARK! Dallas is taking storytelling to a new canvas, a shoe canvas. The fourth annual Shoes & Stories event leads girls second grade through high school on a storytelling journey drawn on a pair of white canvas sneakers.
In two separate sessions, special guest teacher Dana Proulx-Willis with Teach with the Arts, will assist SPARK! instructors as they lead the girls through design and storytelling, teaching them about the creative process while opening their eyes to their own creative potential. Girls will be able to illustrate their personal stories, favorite poems and more.
Additional activities include a 6,000 square foot Climb, Crawl, Slide sculpture, Giant Light Bright, virtual hot air balloon and sound mixing booths.
