Stomping Ground Comedy Theater & Training Center will present Laughing Matters, an evening of comedy with proceeds supporting this young nonprofit’s journey to open their dedicated comedy training center and theater in early 2018.
Laughing Matters will include the premiere public improv performance of Stomping Ground Comedy creative team, which boasts over 100 years of combined experience performing at Second City, iO Chicago, Annoyance, Esther’s Follies, Four Day Weekend, and many more. Dallas comedy performers Chad Cline, Jim Kuenzer, Jason Folks, Cameron and Lindsay Goldapp, Tyler Via and Jeff Poteat make up the Stomping Ground Comedy creative team and will be joined by Chicago-based performers Rachel Farmer, Ashley Rountree and former Los Angeles-based actor Nick Cernoch. The riotous evening will also feature standup by seasoned comedians Aaron Aryanpur, Latrice Allen, and Brandon Davidson.
