Taqueria La Ventana presents El Dia de los Muertos Celebration

eventdetail

All four Taqueria La Ventana locations will be hosting an unforgettable Day of the Dead festival. In honor of El Dia de los Muertos tradition, the taqueria will also be serving complimentary Mexican Hot Chocolate paired with Pan de Muertos, a type of sweet roll traditionally baked for the holiday.

An expert face painter will be on-site, helping attendees get into the spirit of the day. And for the sacred occasion, special ofrendas (altars) will be built at each of the restaurants to honor the deceased, featuring traditional sugar skulls, marigolds, food and beverages. Throughout the evening, guests will be transported to the bustling, vibrant streets of modern Mexico while choosing from more than 10 meat and veggie options to fill their taco, burrito, bowl or salad. Topo Chico will be on-hand for guests of all ages to sample and adults will be treated to free Mexican Cervezas samples from Corona and Modelo Especial. There will also be free Margarita samples featuring premium Tequila Exotico available throughout the night.

Taqueria La Ventana has four locations: in downtown Dallas adjacent to the award-winning Meso Maya; at the Dallas Farmers Market; in Addison at 4180 Beltline Road; and now in Greenville at the Northwest corner of I-30 and Hwy 34.
