eventdetail

Panama 500 is pianist/composer Danilo Pérez’ most ambitious project to date, the furthest evolution yet of what Pérez calls “three-dimensional music.” Pérez blends jazz and Pan-American folkloric traditions with influences from European classical music. The first half of the concert will feature the UNT One O’Clock Lab Band, led by Jay Saunders, with guest artist Danilo Pérez. The second half features Danilo Pérez and Panama 500, joined by members of the One O’Clock Lab Band for the final selection.
