World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth presents Gen. David H. Petraeus
David Petraeus, the U.S. Army Four Star General who commanded American forces in the Iraq “Surge” in 2007-08 and later became director of the Central Intelligence Agency, headlines a World Affairs Council Conversation.
The conversation, touching on Petraeus’ experience in the Middle East and with the CIA, among other things, will be moderated by World Affairs Council President James N. Falk. Petraeus’ military leadership responsibilities began in the Cold War and continued well into the War on Terror after 9/11.
Petraeus currently serves as Chairman of KKR Global Institute, part of the international investment firm KKR & Co. He is also a visiting professor at CUNY’s Macaulay Honors College, a Judge Widney Professor at the University of Southern California, and a Senior Fellow at Harvard University, as well as a personal venture investor.
