Bishop Arts Theatre Center
This often-overlooked Dallas treasure, located just minutes from the Bishop Arts District, features a 170-seat theater housed in a renovated, historic building. Originally constructed in 1914, the building was once the Bluebird Theatre, a silent movie house. Today it is home to TeCo Theatrical Productions, a multicultural theater company that promotes the arts and arts education in the Dallas area. TeCo presents Shakespearean classics, competitions for local playwrights, children’s performances, dance and an annual jazz series.
TeCo Theatrical Productions aims to bring cultural and artistic experiences to children in at-risk communities in the Dallas area.
