The McKinney Avenue Trolley truly is a free ride. Save for charter tours, the trolley is a complimentary city service. Using restored antique electric trolleys, the McKinney Transit Authority operates four cars: Rosie, Green Dragon, Matilda and Petunia. You can catch a ride 365 days a year, although the system does operate on a Sunday schedule on holidays. Well-behaved dogs are allowed to ride the trolley (with their owners).
