Alligator Cafe

Alligator Cafe
Alligator Cafe relocated to Casa Linda in March 2012. Antonio Rambles

Authentic Cajun/Creole restaurant relocated in March 2012 to Casa Linda Shopping Plaza, taking over the old Franki’s Lil Europe space. It’s an upgrade from the old Live Oak space, with brick interior, alligator bar stools and a mural on the wall. Chef Ivan Pugh does fried catfish, jambalaya, red beans and rice, shrimp étouffée, and gumbo – a dark, thick version with crawfish, alligator, sausage and rice. Starters are fried, be it fried pickles or fried alligator tail. Desserts include bread pudding and sweet potato pecan pie, topped with candied pralines.

Live bands perform Thursday-Saturday, 7-10 pm.
