We like to sit on the wraparound porch, because it’s a prime perch for watching the parade of patrons marching down Henderson Avenue. More than 100 types of beer and a fully stocked bar are both draws, as is the food, which is much better than it has to be. We like to share thick-cut strips of fried calamari, aptly called calamari fries, served with a creamy marinara dipping sauce. Speaking of sauces, hand-cut fries come with your choice of three, ranging from basil mayo and to Creole honey mustard. Burgers are made with grass-fed and hormone- and antibiotic-free beef.
