This tiny, quirky, profoundly personal restaurant does not make it easy. It has limited hours — Tuesday through Friday, and even on those days, you should call and make sure it's open. There's no reservations and no credit cards; it's cash or check only. There are half a dozen tables, so you may have to wait. But owner Donatella Trotti's homey, real-deal Italian food is a winner, especially her gorgeous pastas. It's inexpensive, and the restaurant is BYOB, with no corkage fee.
