Located just across from the Angelika in Mockingbird Station, the People’s Last Stand shakes and stirs a slew of quality cocktails that are more works of art than vehicles for inebriation. You can find the classics like Sazeracs and old fashioneds, but bartenders here like to create more interesting drinks that inspire returns visits. For example, they do something called the Straight to Hell, made with Vida mezcal, Rotham & Winter apricot liqueur, muddled Thai basil, jalapeno, ginger syrup and lime juice.
