Food Network star Lisa Garza has created a welcoming restaurant that oozes Southern charm, with a menu to match. Southern classics include deviled eggs, pimiento cheese, ham salad, fried green tomatoes, and squash fritters —, a moist and crunchy spin-off of hush puppies fortified with shredded squash. Sissy's was doing fried chicken before it became the big trend it has become, and it's the signature dish. Tender and juicy inside, crunchy and golden outside, it's served in a two-piece dinner or a bucket for $25.
