Texas Chili Parlor's unapologetic nature goes hand-in-hand with its bold, spicy chili and junkyard collection of Texas decorations. The bar and restaurant area are aesthetically stolen from the living room of everyone's estranged uncle: deer, fake fish, old gas station logos, model ships, murals of a random South American river. "Eclectic" hardly begins to cover it, but don't let the Parlor's mismatched masculinity intimidate you, everyone here is united under the pursuit of awesome chili. The savory recipe is splashed on almost every dish, but that's why you're here. That's the motto: E Pluribus Chili.
It's no surprise that the Texas Chili Parlor is no-BS movie director Quentin Tarantino's favorite spot in town, possibly because of the no-BS approach to chili spiciness: X, XX and XXX. Guess which one is going to melt your face off.
