Dallas City Performance Hall is the newest addition to the Dallas Arts District and AT&T Performing Arts Center. The publicly funded venue, which gives small and mid-size local arts groups a place to call home, hosts a variety of events, from theater productions to concerts to lectures. Its functional, utilitarian design promotes flexibility; areas within the venue have multiple uses, including a wide-open lobby suitable for small-scale productions and cocktail parties. Open in September 2012, the venue will continue to expand by adding small theaters, classrooms and a visual arts gallery.
