Unassuming doesn’t even begin to describe this bar tucked in a strip mall at Marsh Lane and Walnut Hill Road. Only a tiny sign out front indicates there’s something going on in here, and what is going on is a couple of pool tables, a jukebox and some strong drinks. If you go to Velvet Elvis on a Friday or Saturday night, you might find some cover band working the classics from the ’80s. The place is so small that you’re pretty much forced to make new friends – especially on karaoke night.
