Dallas police release sketch in Katy Trail attack

Dallas police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man suspected of attacking a walker on the Katy Trail recently. Around 9:30 pm on September 27, a male jumped from the bushes and attacked a woman in the 3400 block of Blackburn Avenue.

The woman was pushed to the ground while the suspect "ripped the earphones from her head." The woman kicked and screamed at the man, who retreated back into the bushes.

The suspect is described as an African-American male, about 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-9, weighing 250 pounds with an Afro-style haircut. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a black T-shirt with white lettering, black pants and black shoes.
