Who hasn't walked into a bar and realized there was a Match.com meet-up going on? If you opted to stay and join the fun, we won't judge.

Maybe you started the conversation with something like, "Oh, my brother's name is Jonathan." Or perhaps you broke the ice with, "My favorite fifth-grade teacher spelled her name the same way you do."

Proceeds from the Tuesday Stirs — happening in cities worldwide — will go to Charity: Water, a nonprofit that provides clean drinking water to people in developing countries.

Good times.

Now the online dating site is inviting like-minded single altruists to an unforgettable "stir event" November 27 at at Concrete Cowboy. You don't have to be a member of the site to go, but you must know a member. The cost to attend is $5 for members and $10 for guests of members.

So rather than meeting and greeting your fellow singles awkwardly, you now have a conversation starter: the desire to do good. Proceeds from the Tuesday Stirs — happening in cities worldwide — will go to Charity: Water, a nonprofit that provides clean drinking water to people in developing countries.

Match.com boasts their involvement with #GivingTuesday, a campaign to create a national day of giving at the cusp of the holiday season.

Give back and (maybe) find the love of your life? Now that's the spirit of the season.
