Hova Returns
The time has come for Jay-Z's return to Dallas with 4:44 tour
Hot on the heels of the release of his 13th studio album, 4:44, rapper Jay-Z has announced plans for a North American tour, including a stop in Dallas at the American Airlines Center on Tuesday, November 7.
This will be Jay-Z's first trip to the Dallas-Fort Worth area since his co-headlining concert with wife Beyoncé at AT&T Stadium on July 22, 2014.
The tour will hit 31 cities in both the United States and Canada, starting in Anaheim, California, on October 27. Jay-Z will only make two stops in Texas, including a concert in Houston on November 8.
4:44 was released to great hype, first on June 30 exclusively to Tidal and Sprint customers, then to everyone else as of July 7. The album was said to have gone platinum almost immediately, although that had more to do with the unique logistics of the initial release than actual sales.
Pre-sale ticket sales for Tidal members, VIP packages, and Citi Card members will take place July 10-13. An additional Live Nation/Ticketmaster pre-sale will take place on July 13, with tickets going on sale to the general public on July 14.
