This past week, word leaked out about Fun Fun Fun Fest's 2013 music lineup at an East Austin screening of Vannin' hosted by the festival. Previous lineup leaks revealed the likes of Ice-T and The Walkmen, but the latest announcement sets the full tone for the eighth annual event.

"Pound for pound, this is probably our most powerful lineup in our eight-year history," said Fun Fun Fun Fest co-owner James Moody in a release. "We are staying true to our roots, while still pushing the limit on new ideas, discoveries and experiences for our fans."

Colorful headliners represent the festival's "anything goes" identity, one that has created an immersive, multigenre music experience respected nationwide. With the likes of Snoop Dogg, Slayer, MGMT, M.I.A., Jurassic 5, Ice-T and Television on the bill, Fun Fun Fun Fest caters to rock, metal and rap fans and provides plenty of discovery opportunities for festivalgoers outside of strict genre confinements.

The Yellow Stage (for comedy and oddity shows) also returns this year, along with the Skate/Ride feature. Those lineups will be announced in August at Fun Fun Fun Fest's third annual Aqua Olympics.
