LA rockers Nico Vega to shred guitar and vegetables in Dallas

Everyone knows that it’s sex, drugs and rock-and-roll — but it’s entirely possible that’s only because juicing wasn’t a thing when Mötley Crüe was around.

Los Angeles-based rock band Nico Vega is co-headlining a nationwide summer tour with Crash Kings, and they’re bringing their juicer with them.

As part of the tour, the band will stop at juice bars across the country to show off their “Beast Juice.” Named after the group's breakout single “Beast” — which you’ve probably heard on a commercial somewhere — the juice is a concoction of beets, spinach, kale, carrots, apples, pineapple, mint and ginger.

The band touches down in Dallas at 2 pm July 18 at the Juice Bar to offer free samples and give away a pair of tickets to their show that night at The Door in Deep Ellum.

And lest you think that juice isn’t hardcore, we heard that Keith Richards once tried kale and beet juice, and all the nutrients damn near killed him.
